Antica famiglia di origine pisana, trasferitasi in Sicilia alla fine del XII secolo, ed una seconda volta, definitivamente, nel corso del XV secolo, alla quale appartennero:
- Giovanni AGNELLO, barone di Lentini e Messina nel 1202.
- Antonio AGNELLO, citato l'11 gennaio 1452 mentre pescava i tonni nel Rigitano.
- Altro, Antonio AGNELLO fu Proconservatore di Cefalù nel 1734. - Il Proconservatore fu un funzionario preposto alla custodia degli archivi e ai depositi dei documenti ufficiali nel Regno delle Due Sicilie e, in tempi precedenti, nel Regno di Sicilia (1735 -1816).
- Francesco AGNELLO fu capitano di giustizia della città di Cefalù nel 1761-1762.Il 10 luglio 1766 fu investito del feudo di Ogliastro, tramite la moglie Anna Maria Figlia, possedeva anche il feudo di Signefari, di cui fu investito, insieme al figlio Pietro, il 4 aprile 1789.
- Antonio AGNELLO, barone di Ramata e Signefari, fu deputato per Cefalù al Parlamento di Sicilia, 1848.

Ancienne famille d'origine pisane, passée en Sicile à la fin du XIIe siècle, et une seconde fois, définitivement, au cours du XVe siècle, auquel appartenait :
- Giovanni AGNELLO, baron de Lentini et de Messine en 1202.
- Antonio AGNELLO, cité le 11 janvier 1452 à la pêche au thon de Rigitano.
- Autre, Antonio AGNELLO a été Proconservatore de Cefalù en 1734. - Le Proconservator était un fonctionnaire chargé de la garde des archives et des dépôts de documents officiels dans le Royaume des Deux-Siciles et, à une époque antérieure, dans le Royaume de Sicile (1735-1816).
- Francesco AGNELLO fut capitaine de justice de la ville de Cefalu en 1761-1762.Le 10 juillet 1766 il fut investi du fief d'Ogliastro, par l'intermédiaire de son épouse Anna Maria Figlia, il possédait aussi le fief de Signefari, dont il fut investi, ainsi que son fils Pietro, le 4 avril 1789.
- Antonio AGNELLO, baron de Ramata et de Signefari, fut député de Cefalù au Parlement de Sicile, 1848.

Ancient family of Pisan origin, which moved to Sicily at the end of the 12th century, and a second time, definitively, during the 15th century, to which belonged:
- Giovanni AGNELLO, baron of Lentini and Messina in 1202.
- Antonio AGNELLO, cited on January 11, 1452 while fishing for tuna in Rigitano.
- Other, Antonio AGNELLO was Proconservatore of Cefalù in 1734. - The Proconservator was an official responsible for the custody of archives and deposits of official documents in the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies and, at an earlier time, in the Kingdom of Sicily (1735-1816).
- Francesco AGNELLO was captain of justice of the town of Cefalu in 1761-1762. On July 10, 1766 he was invested with the fiefdom of Ogliastro, through his wife Anna Maria Figlia, he also owned the fiefdom of Signefari, of which he was invested, along with his son Pietro, on April 4, 1789.
- Antonio AGNELLO, baron of Ramata and Signefari, was deputy for Cefalù in the Parliament of Sicily, 1848.
