MAYENZET, MAENCHET, MAYENCHET
Ancienne famille notable de Loèche-les-Bains, qui tira son nom, au XIVe s. de la maison appelée Maynchet ou Mantschet, située dans cette localité. Elle était connait sous les noms : de Maënchet, de Mayenchet, de Mayenceto, Maenchet, Mayenchet, Mayencet, Mayenzet.
Elle se répandit rapidement à Loèche, Inden, Varone et Agarn ; elle constitue le tronc originaire des Andri, des Nicodi, des Ambuel et des Loretan.
La famille s'est répendue avant 1400 à Loèche-Ville, puis à Sion ou Antoine aurait été bourgmestre en 1539.
- Ulrich, fils de Nicodus de Maenchet, est mentionné pour la première fois dans des documents de 1340.

Ehemalige angesehene Familie von Loèche-les-Bains, die ihren Namen im 14. Jahrhundert erhielt. des Hauses namens Maynchet oder Mantschet, das sich in dieser Ortschaft befindet. Es war unter den Namen bekannt: de Maënchet, de Mayenchet, de Mayenceto, Maenchet, Mayenchet, Mayencet, Mayenzet.

Ex nobile famiglia di Loèche-les-Bains, che prese il nome nel XIV secolo. della casa chiamata Maynchet o Mantschet, situata in questa località. Era conosciuto con i nomi: de Maënchet, de Mayenchet, de Mayenceto, Maenchet, Mayenchet, Mayencet, Mayenzet.
Si diffuse rapidamente a Leuk, Inden, Varone e Agarn; costituisce il tronco originario degli Andri, dei Nicodi, degli Ambuel e dei Loretan.
